105-007 Flores Tubular dress

From Flores, probably Lio group (based on the Pusaka collection).  Warp ikat on commercial cotton - sometimes rayon is used but this feels like cotton to me - it feels heavier than rayon (see https://ikat.us/ikat_082.php for a rayon example from the 1950s; cotton examples - https://ikat.us/ikat_099.php  and https://ikat.us/ikat_045.php). The pattern looks like it is derived from Indian patola trade cloths, which is common in this part of Flores.  Made from 3 strips of cloth.  I bought this is Bali in 1985.  It weighs 585 grams.
