118-023 Nepalese Pure Silver White Tara Statue

This sculpture is a rendering of the Divine Form of the Goddess White Tara, also known as Saptalocana, the seven eyed Saviouress. She is the principle Goddess of longevity. She embodies the power to confer a long life and to alleviate all illness, and to remove obstacles that are indicative of an untimely death. Furthermore, she is also the specified deity one meditates upon to bring about an auspicious rebirth. She is one of the twenty-one aspects of Green Tara, considered a great Bodhisattva in Her own right. White Tara represents the clear white light one experiences upon leaving the physical body. The luminosity of the ever-evolving potentiality of pure Consciousness, Divine Creation Itself, the Essence of unconditional Love.
